This means you're allowed wings, stealth, speed boosts, and sprint, including the C&C details.
2: There's a 0 to 2 limit on health, which means you can add half of the weapon parts (the ones that have 1 strike/charge/spit and 1 health) and the other health boosts.

Also, I think it needs to be specified that you SHOULD NOT MODIFY te probiscous mouth, as it is guaranteed to make a huge glitchy mess if you do! The other parts won't.Plasmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14729823782513370643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5657909912317247286.post-91765073396282358072009-02-26T15:10:00.000-08:002009-02-26T15:10:00.000-08:00Hey Parkaboy, I'm not sure if your aware but there...Hey Parkaboy, I'm not sure if your aware but there is a limit as to how mnay DNA points you can spend while creating landfall creatures. If you go over this not only will you creature never be eligable to be in your own or anyone elses game but it also does not save the creation to your sporepedia.
I came across this annoying bug with one of my creations that used all of the collected dna points.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06247028192758270086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5657909912317247286.post-19147140816471073482009-02-23T04:21:00.000-08:002009-02-23T04:21:00.000-08:00Answering Bone:4- I'm not sure how many we would n...Answering Bone:

4- I'm not sure how many we would need, possibly 3 or four of each archetype.

5- Some mods do prevent content from being uploaded, but others don't. The Cell Xtended uploads just fine.

6- I'll think about it :)

And answering eleazar:
Yes, I tested it, and creatures with the sense parts can appear as early creatures. Make sure you are respecting all the stats on the early archetypes, that's probably why it doesn't show up. Or maybe the game just happened to choose other creatures, bad chance.Parkaboyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10061645206614186095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5657909912317247286.post-60589233372738294002009-01-23T22:23:00.000-08:002009-01-23T22:23:00.000-08:00"- Since you can use any eye part, you can also us..."- Since you can use any eye part, you can also use the "Senses" parts, the noses, nostrils antennae and ears;"

I realize the archetype list doesn't rule these out, but in my testing, no creature with any of the "sense" parts not available right from the ECC would every show up as an NPC.

Have you gotten one of these to show up in your game?j. w. bjerkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06800512284198234202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5657909912317247286.post-30547369220002188462009-01-21T11:56:00.000-08:002009-01-21T11:56:00.000-08:00A few comments:1 - Love the blog. And now I'm seriously considering jetting out to buy Creepy and Cute Parts on my lunch break.

2 - I'm assuming arms and hands are also doable for these types of creatures. I understand that they may not exactly fit into the "primitive life" theme, but it might still be interesting to have a couple roaming around early on.

3 - Thanks for clarifying the "archetype" list that's found on Spore.com. The way they laid it out was kind of confusing. I would like to see this approach to the other "archetypes" too.

4 - If you were to create a Sporecast that attempts to fill all the archetypes, how many of each type would you need? IE on average how many NPC_Socials and NPC_Combats would one be required to have to ensure that no other content is aggregated by the game?

5 - I'm not entirely clear on how mods affect your ability to upload content to Sporepedia. Does using Cell Parts Xtended prevent those creatures from being uploaded? What about other mods?

6 - If you ever get a chance, a tutorial exploring "floating creature creation" would be cool.Bonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18190882799792847121noreply@blogger.com
